It is simply unacceptable that asylum seekers are locked up indefinitely upon arriving to Australia by boat and it's time to let out MPs know.

Welcome to the homepage of the South Australian Young Greens.

The South Australian Young Greens are the youth branch of the SA Greens. Our goal is to bring Green ideas into Power with campaigns aimed at promoting the Greens at state and federal elections, building grass roots support for the Green movement and promoting Green ideas.

By winning the balance of power in the senate, the Australian Greens will be able to positively influence Australian government policy and put Green ideas into action. We believe in building a society of the ideals of Peace, Grassroots Democracy, Social Justice and Ecological Sustainability.

Australians have a choice. A choice to make Australia a forward thinking and forward acting country, where the environment, human rights, and social justice is respected. A choice to say to the current leadership that enough is enough and we will not stand for more fumbling with our future. A choice to turn Australia into a peaceful, just and sustainable country where every voice is heard.

You can join the SA Young Greens if you are young and agree with the principles of the Australian Greens Party and you are not a member of any other political party. Our members are loosely between 16 - 30. We meet every second Monday at Adelaide University, for meeting times and days, please contact us. Come along to a meeting and get amongst the action.
